America: Here & Now

July 10–August 4, 2023
This introductory-level academic course provides students with an understanding of literature, culture, and history in contemporary America, with an emphasis on local voices and experiences. Students will study and discuss significant American literature, films, art, and music. Our expert faculty members from the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences will share their creative and scholarly work with students over the course of the program. View Brochure.

Managing for Superior Outcomes: Leadership Skills for the New Normal

July 10–August 4, 2023
This institute is specifically for undergraduate students who are interested in broadening their understanding of the world of business and sharpening their leadership skills. Engaging in an immersive learning experience spanning four weeks, students will learn the latest in management thinking and practices from academic scholars within UMD's Labovitz School of Business and Economics and regional industry leaders.
