Study Abroad Coordinator
Ali Liffrig is one of two Study Abroad Coordinators. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Dakota and a Masters of Arts in International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. During her undergraduate career, Ali studied abroad in Seoul, South Korea for an academic year and completed the practicum required for her graduate program in Incheon, South Korea. Before joining UMD, Ali worked in both International Student Services and Study Abroad in the Midwest. She currently volunteers her time as the Managing Editor for Case Studies in International Education.
Ali manages a portfolio of study abroad programs in the UK, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, and Spain (programs in other countries are managed by her colleague, Jerolyn). She maintains institutional partnerships and advises students about the study abroad process.
An avid supporter of intercultural communication, Ali looks forward to supporting students, faculty, and staff throughout their international journeys.
